ROCKFON Blanka’s smooth, non directional surface reduces installation time and the anti-static surface withstands exposure to work site dust.

αw: up to 1.00 (Class A) - Sound absorption is measured in accordance with ISO 354. Sound absorption data αp, αw and absorption class are calculated in accordance with ISO 11654. Sound absorption properties of islands and baffles are quantified by the equivalent sound absorption area AT expressed in m2/item.

Reaction to fire

Class A1 - Reaction to fire is classified in accordance with EN 13501-1. The fire protection properties of ROCKFON ceilings have been tested and classified in accordance with European norm EN 13501-2 and/or national norms depending on requirements in national building codes.

Humidity and sag resistance

up to 100% RH - ROCKFON ceiling tiles are dimensionally stable even at humidity levels of up to 100% relative humidity and can be installed at all temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C. They can be installed during the very early stage of the build (when windows are not fully sealed). No acclimatisation is necessary.

Wet-scrub resistance Class 1 - The wet-scrub resistance is tested in accordance with EN ISO 11998:2007, rated on a scale from 1 to 5, where 1 is best.

Hygiene

Stone wool provides no sustenance to micro-organisms - Stone wool provides no sustenance to the following microorganisms tested in accordance with JIS Z 2801:2000 and ASTM C 1338-96:

  • Eschericia coli
  • Staphylococcus aureus
  • Methicillin-resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA)
  • Stachybotrys chartarum
  • Penicillium brevicumpactum
  • Alternaria tenuissima
  • Aspergillus niger
  • Sporobolomyces roseum
  • Rhodotorula rubra

L value: 94.5

The whiteness (L value) of the product is tested in accordance with ISO 7724 and measured on a scale from 1 (black) to 100 (white).

Deep matt surface, perfect in critical side-light Gloss: 0.8% at 85° angle.

The gloss of the product is tested in accordance with ISO 2813.

Surface Durability

Enhanced durability and dirt resistance - The surface of some ROCKFON products is specially treated to provide enhanced durability and dirt resistance.
